The ST#7HED-14A (ST7HED14A) is a throat microphone headset manufactured by Tanizawa. It can be used with Tanizawa's digital echo mate portable radios ST#747M-H, ST#727M, ST#722SH, and ST#722LG. The received audio is heard through the earphones, and the transmitted audio is picked up by the throat microphone. It employs a throat microphone suitable for work in noisy environments or situations where the microphone cannot be placed near the mouth. A throat microphone picks up the vibrations of the throat and converts them into sound, allowing for clear audio transmission even in loud surroundings. Since it is a type that fits around the throat, it is easy to communicate while wearing chemical protective clothing or a mask, and there is no hassle of the microphone shifting. It has an IPX4 equivalent waterproof performance (not waterproof in disassembled state).
